Terms of Service
Plain-language summary. The formal terms follow, but if there's ever a conflict between this summary and the detail below, the detail wins.
What you get
- An email mailbox you control, on your chosen plan.
- Access over IMAP, SMTP, and our webmail at mail.spamvex.com.
- Support from a human who reads each ticket.
- An export of your mail at any time, over standard IMAP — your data is portable.
What we need from you
- Don't use our service to send unsolicited bulk mail, phishing, malware, or anything that would get us onto a block list.
- Keep your credentials safe. Use a password manager.
- Pay on time. If a charge fails, we'll email you three times over 14 days before we suspend the mailbox. Data is retained for 30 days after suspension, then deleted.
Acceptable use
Prohibited: spam, CSAM, targeted harassment, illegal content, operating a botnet or C2, mass automated outbound relaying beyond normal personal or business volume, resale of individual mailbox credentials.
Rate limits apply to protect deliverability for everyone on the platform. Personal plans are shaped at 10 messages/second and 200 recipients/hour; Pro plans are shaped at 20/s and 500/hour. Need higher? Talk to us — it's usually a conversation, not a policy violation.
Pricing and billing
- Personal: $5/month or $50/year. Pro: $12/month or $120/year. Prices in USD.
- First 7 days are free. No credit card required to start.
- After the trial, we charge the payment method you supplied, on the day of conversion, and on that same day each month or year.
- Cancel anytime. You keep access through the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds within 30 days of first payment, no questions asked.
Uptime and availability
We target 99.9% monthly availability, which allows about 43 minutes of downtime per month. If we miss it because of our own fault (not upstream DNS / ISP / region-wide outages), we credit your account prorated.
Data retention and deletion
- Mail is retained as long as your account is active, subject to your plan's storage quota.
- Deleted mail (Trash) is purged after 30 days.
- Suspended accounts are retained 30 days then deleted; cancelled accounts, 14 days.
- You can request full deletion at any time — we confirm in writing.
Limitation of liability
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We're not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Changes to these terms
If we materially change these terms, we'll email you at least 30 days before the changes take effect. If you don't agree, cancel before the effective date and we'll refund any prepaid time.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
